Job Description

**HIRING DELIVERY DRIVERS IMMEDIATELY WITH WEEKLY PAY FOR CANTON/AKRON AND SURROUNDING AREAS**
Starting at $20 an hour! 
We are looking for motivated, extremely reliable, and responsible delivery drivers to distribute Amazon products to their customers in Akron and surrounding areas. (Up to an hour radius) All drivers must be 21 years or older. You will represent our company in a professional & safe manner while providing the highest level of customer service.   • Weekly Pay Full Time: 10 hour shifts, 4 days per week, plus overtime when available

Delivery Driver Responsibilities

  • Reliable transportation to be at work on time daily
  • Load van and deliver up to 200 locations per day. Sort packages in the vehicle and use phone/app to accurately record every delivery.
  • Deliver small packages (nothing over 50 lbs) to different addresses through pre-planned routes
  • Ability to lift, bend, climb, crouch, and be on your feet for 10 hours a day while lifting up to 50lbs
  • *Safely* drive an over sized vehicle in all weather conditions, during the day and after dark, in both urban and rural areas
  • Complete your assigned route in the required time window
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle
  • Strict adherence to safety standards following all rules of the road
  • Use GPS and other handheld devices while delivering
  • Communicate with customers in a positive & professional manner at all times
  • Be responsible for keeping a clean truck for the next driver

Work Environment

  • Fast-paced, with tight deadlines – drivers measured for delivery accuracy and on-time performance every day.
  • Independent – Driver responsible for company-provided vehicle, executing delivery route and resolving issues along the way
  • Always changing but we are a company that prides ourselves on communication amongst the entire team.

Delivery Driver Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Work a 10 hour shift 3-4 days per week for full time
  • Good driving record (no more than 3 points in 3 years) and possess a current valid drivers license. 
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently while on the road
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs as well as climbing in and out of a cargo vehicle 150+ times per day
  • Be a TEAM PLAYER
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays
  • Consent to a 4 panel drug screen
