Description

Test Technician Seeking a Test Technician for a leading technology company in Chelmsford MA. This is an exciting contract opportunity with potential for long-term employment. If you have a keen eye for detail and have an interest in working with electronics this is a great opportunity to grow in a hands-on role. In this role you'll play a key part in assembling and/or testing cutting-edge products and systems in production. Job Details: - Location: Chelmsford MA - Shift: 2nd shift schedule with the shift being Monday-Thursday from 4pm-2:30am, with the possibility of overtime. The contractor selected will be required to start and train on the first shift for the first month, which is a full-time day shift from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday. - Starting Salary: 24.00 - 25.00/hour What you will do: - Perform electrical and RF testing on systems sub-assemblies and circuit boards using manual and automated test equipment. - Work from Process/Work Instructions and test plans to ensure products meet quality standards. - Use various measuring instruments and electronic test equipment to meet quality requirements. - Document accurate data records and results test databases generate reports and assist in improving test procedures. - Basic troubleshooting / retesting of electronic assemblies. - Collaborate with production quality and engineering teams to improve throughput and continuous improvement. What we are looking For: - Basic computer skills required including ability to navigate digital systems for timekeeping work instructions and task confirmation. - Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. - Experience with electrical and/or micro-electronics preferred. - Knowledge of ESD procedures and test equipment. - Strong work ethics and a reputation for punctuality and reliability with a desire to grow and learn in their role. - High school diploma or GED required.
