Entry Level Laboratory Technician

Location: Tipton, IN

Pay: $19.00/hour + Overtime + Performance Bonuses

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM | Monday-Friday | 40 Hours/Week

BCforward is hiring Entry Level Laboratory Technicians for a leading agricultural company in Tipton, IN. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to start a career in laboratory operations. No previous laboratory experience is required, and paid training is provided.

Responsibilities

  • Perform seed germination and quality testing.
  • Evaluate corn, soybean, wheat, and sorghum samples.
  • Record test results accurately using a tablet/computer.
  • Follow laboratory procedures and quality standards.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and work area.
  • Support other laboratory functions during busy periods.
  • Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all testing activities.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Reliable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Able to stand or sit for extended periods.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
