Celltron, Inc (located in Galena, KS) is a leader in manufacturing high reliability wiring products with high quality and close tolerance configurations for the aerospace, defense and commercial industries. Celltron has grown into an internationally known contract manufacturer of custom cable assemblies, wiring harnesses, and electro-mechanical sub-assemblies for defense, aerospace, and commercial customers.

OPEN INTERVIEWS EVERY WEDNESDAY FROM 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM

The entry level Cable Assembly Operator builds cables and wire harness assemblies.  

We are going to invest in you.  We will formally teach you skills to do the following: 

   

  • Build cable/wire harness assemblies using step by step Work Instructions (WI), drawings, schematics and other instructions.
  • Use state of the art termination equipment
  • Terminate electrical equipment to meet international standards (IPC 620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies).
  • Maintain legible and accurate records of your work.
  • Safely select and use basic tools and accurately measure parts.   
  • Safely use automated tension pullers and other basic mechanical or electrical testing tools.  
  • Build bulk cable using proprietary equipment.  
  • Learn soldering skills to international standards.  
  • Perform other duties trained or assignments as required.

Qualifications:

  • A strong desire to learn new skills or improve skills previously learned.  
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.  
  • The ability to listen, learn and apply new information given.
  • Able to manage time and attendance to meet deadlines or production goals.    
  • A willingness to be a positive part of a team to accomplish individual and team goals.
  • Must pass drug-screen and pre-employment physical.
  • Prior cable building experience or manufacturing experience a plus, but not mandatory.  We will train you to be successful. 

 

Weekly Pay:   $14.00 – $15.50 per hour based on experience.  Increase of $0.50 after successful 90-day review.

Hours of work:  Monday-Friday with occasional overtime.  1st and 2nd Shift.

Working Conditions:  Temperature-controlled, light manufacturing environment. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses or other protective gear may be required.
