The Job:

We are currently recruiting an entry-level Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist to join a growing accounting and finance team. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates who have taken accounting coursework and are looking to turn their classroom knowledge into hands-on professional experience.

In this role, you'll support both accounts payable and accounts receivable while gaining exposure to invoicing, payments, account reconciliation, financial records, and day-to-day accounting operations. Previous professional accounting experience is not required. We're looking for someone who enjoys working with numbers, pays close attention to detail, and is excited to build a career in accounting or finance.

What You Will Be Doing As An Accounts Payable & Receivable Specialist

  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Review invoices, purchase orders, payments, and supporting documentation for accuracy
  • Enter and maintain financial information within accounting systems
  • Assist with customer invoicing and monitor outstanding balances
  • Process vendor invoices and help ensure payments are completed on schedule
  • Reconcile accounts and research discrepancies when they arise
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, and internal teams regarding invoices and payment questions
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records and documentation
  • Assist with month-end accounting activities and financial reporting as needed
  • Support the accounting team with additional projects and day-to-day financial operations
