The Senior Revenue Accountant is responsible for overseeing revenue recognition, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (ASC 606), and supporting the monthly close process. This role serves as a key contributor in analyzing complex customer contracts, maintaining accurate financial records, and partnering cross-functionally to ensure proper revenue treatment. The Senior Revenue Accountant also helps improve processes, strengthen controls, and support audits.

Job Description and Requirements

WhatYou'llDo

  • Review customer contracts and determineappropriate revenuerecognition treatment under ASC 606, including documenting nonstandard terms

  • Own key components of the monthly and quarterly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to provide revenue insights and support deal structuring decisions

  • Support external audits and ensure revenue-related documentation and controls are buttoned up

  • Help scale and improve revenue systems, processes, and controls as the business grows.

  • Participate in revenue accounting and quote-to-cashcyclespecial projects.

  • Support cross-department efforts and build relationships with other teams, including accounting, FP&A, sales, deal desk, and legal

  • Bachelor'sdegree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in Revenue Accounting at a high-growth technology company

  • Strong technical knowledge of ASC 606 for Software and SaaS, including usage-based commit contracts

  • Intermediate to advancedproficiencywith Microsoft Office, especially Excel

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$74,000 and $110,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
