Responsibilities:

  • Hands on experience in creating Charge router Work queue configuration/ Work queue stages.

  • Hands on experience in setting up Charge router Charge Entry configuration.

  • Good end to end knowledge on Charge Router workflow.

  • Basic charge Router Setup

  • Functions of Charge Router/Preprocessing/Charge Handler (Tasks/Actions)/Destination routing.

  • Hands on experience in creating new rule - Tasks/Actions/Rules/Macro Setup and Marco Results (difference between ID and Value).

  • Reports- Charge Router Reconciliation Reports.

  • Charge router testing

  • Dropping orders using chart review-> creating new patient encounter -> dropping an order and signing the order/Unite charge entry ->creating new encounter

  • Hands-on experience in Epic HIM Hospital Coding (Workqueues, Rules, SVC, HSD settings, coding queries, Doc Review)

  • Hands-on experience with Solventum/3M Encompass 360 (Preferred) or similar encoder/grouper tools

  • Skilled in creating, optimizing, and supporting Epic Reporting Workbench reports and dashboards

  • Experience supporting coding workflows involving ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, and MS-DRG assignment

  • Strong end-to-end understanding of HB Coding within Epic's revenue cycle

  • Strong understanding of HL7 message types used in coding and CDI workflows

  • Experience supporting integrations between Epic and external coding/CDI platforms

  • Experience troubleshooting build issues, interface failures, coding logic discrepancies, and DRG mismatches

  • Experience developing clear, comprehensive documentation for system changes

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience.

  • Hands on experience in creating Charge router Work queue configuration Work queue stages.

  • Hands on experience in setting up Charge router Charge Entry configuration.

  • Epic Certification Required

  • Hands on experience in Epic HIM Hospital Coding Workqueues, Rules, SVC, HSD settings, coding queries, Doc Review

  • High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications:
