Job description

Full-time office role supporting the CFO at Taylor Davis Co.

Taylor Davis Co. is a paving and site work company serving Western Massachusetts and Connecticut. We're looking for an Office Assistant to work closely with our CFO on the financial and administrative side of the business. This is a full-time position with real responsibility from day one.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the CFO with things such as payroll processing
  • Help manage accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Handle data entry, invoicing, and bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks
  • Organize and process invoices, receipts, and financial paperwork
  • Answer phones and help with general office needs
  • Handle ordering and other day to day office tasks
  • Support administrative projects as they come up

Qualifications

  • Experience with accounting, bookkeeping, or AR/AP
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks required
  • Comfortable working with numbers and keeping accurate records
  • Experience in construction preferred
  • Friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Compensation

$23–29 per hour, based on experience. Full-time.
