About the Role:
It’s that exciting time of year in Lincoln, NE, when opportunities in physical security abound. If you’d rather work during events than simply attend, this is your chance! For nearly seven years, Tank Security Team has been a trusted leader in protection for a wide range of businesses in Lincoln. We’re looking for enthusiastic men and women eager to learn about and enjoy the field of security to join us as Security Officers. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring safety at special events, theater productions, and local entertainment venues. This is a non-lethal, part-time, seasonal position also offering the possibility of year-round part-time work for dedicated individuals. Join a committed team that values both security and customer service while helping create unforgettable experiences for attendees.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control access to venues during events to ensure safety and security.
  • Conduct regular patrols of event areas to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
  • Assist in crowd management to ensure a positive experience for all attendees.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, emergencies, or disturbances as they arise.
  • Collaborate with event organizers and local law enforcement to maintain safety standards.
  • Provide excellent customer service while enforcing venue policies and procedures.
  • Document and report any security incidents or irregularities during events.
  • Participate in training sessions to stay updated on security protocols and practices.
Requirements:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with the public.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure during emergency-situations.
  • Valid state identification or driver's license.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Physical fitness to stand for long periods and respond quickly to incidents.
  • Team-oriented attitude with a commitment to safety and professionalism.
  • Basic first aid and CPR certification is a plus.
