Job description

Are you an active-duty service member or a family member interested in the DoD Skillbridge Program? At Degy, we are proud to offer a comprehensive program designed to support our military members during their transition to civilian careers. We participate in the Skillbridge initiative, providing valuable opportunities for service members to gain hands-on experience.
Our Skillbridge program supports 90 days up to the full 180 day program. Program participation is unique to each applicant, so please let us know your tentative start and end date when you apply and we will work with you! It is a fully-remote internship program and anyone is eligible to apply for one of the following teams: Booking & Sales, Marketing, Special Projects, Major Event Operation, and Roster Operations.
In Addition: Degy Entertainment is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy IT Administrative Support Specialist to assist with the day-to-day operations of our growing technology environment. This role is a strong fit for a SkillBridge candidate transitioning into a civilian technology career. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across Microsoft 365, Jira, and workflow automation tools, and is eager to apply AI-driven strategies to improve team efficiency.

Requirements
DoDI 1322.29 lists general eligibility requirements as -
  • Service members may participate within 180 days of being discharged or released from active duty and service members must have served 180 continuous days on active duty.
  • Approval authority rests with the first field grade commander authorized to impose non-judicial punishment under Article 15 of the UCMJ in the service member's chain of command.
  • Such commanders may approve or disapprove participation by a service member based upon unit mission requirements.

Interested service members can ask questions about participation by contacting their installation SkillBridge point of contact; the SkillBridge POC may be in the transition assistance office, education office, or other installation support office. Who authorizes a Service member's participation in a SkillBridge Program?
The interested service member must gain approval from his or her unit commander. Specifically, the service member must seek approval from the first commander in his or her chain of command in the pay grade of O-4 or above.
