Job description

The Noraverse is seeking an energetic, outgoing, and highly motivated Sales & Marketing Coordinator to help grow our entertainment, costume rental, and custom costume design business. This role focuses on generating bookings, building partnerships, increasing brand awareness, and driving revenue through outreach, networking, and strategic marketing efforts.

The ideal candidate thrives in relationship-building, enjoys working in entertainment and events, and is excited to help expand immersive experiences, performers, custom costumes, and luxury entertainment offerings throughout South Florida and beyond.  This position offers remote flexibility; however associates must be available to commute to scheduled meetings in Broward County, FL, as well as to site inspections and events when needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell entertainment services, including performers, specialty acts, immersive characters, and event experiences
  • Generate leads and secure new business through outreach, networking, cold calls, partnerships, and referrals
  • Promote costume rentals and custom costume design services for theaters, productions, events, and corporate clients
  • Build relationships with event planners, venues, corporations, schools, theaters, festivals, hospitality businesses, and community organizations
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to increase bookings and brand awareness
  • Manage social media promotions, local advertising, and online marketing initiatives
  • Track leads, conversions, sales activity, and performance goals
  • Represent the Noraverse at networking events, trade shows, conventions, and community events
  • Assist with promotional events and client presentations
  • Identify partnership opportunities that increase visibility and revenue

Preferred Qualifications

  • Plus Experience in sales, marketing, entertainment, events, hospitality, tourism, theater, or related industries
  • Existing professional connections within South Florida events, entertainment, tourism, hospitality, or corporate sectors
  • Knowledge of social media marketing, content creation, and digital advertising
  • Experience with client relationship management and business development
  • Passion for entertainment, immersive experiences, costumes, performance arts, or events

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in marketing, business, communications, hospitality, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, recruiting, event sales, or account management
  • Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet sales goals
  • Comfortable with outreach, cold calling, lead generation, and commission-based compensation
  • Basic computer proficiency including email, spreadsheets, CRM systems, and social media platforms

Physical & Schedule Requirements

  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Ability to attend networking events, meetings, trade shows, and client events throughout South Florida
  • Reliable transportation

Compensation Structure
