Job Description

Position Summary
The Enterprise Systems & Integration Administrator is the primary technical steward responsible for the "care and feeding" of our core Ellucian Banner SaaS environment and its surrounding ecosystem. Rather than building software from scratch, this role focuses on platform administration, workflow automation, and creating seamless data connections between systems. Acting as a bridge between technical capabilities and institutional needs, you will maintain and optimize Ellucian Experience, Intelligent Processes, and Insights reporting, while building robust system integrations using APIs and SnapLogic. The ideal candidate is a self-starter capable of managing projects independently while collaborating directly with campus constituents to define application specifications.

Responsibilities

  • SaaS Ecosystem Administration: Manage, configure, and maintain the Ellucian Banner SaaS environment and its related toolsets to ensure optimal performance and user experience.

  • Integrations & Data Connectivity: Design, implement, and support robust data integrations between Banner and third-party applications primarily using Ellucian Data Connect and SnapLogic IPAAS tools.

  • Workflow & Process Automation: Engineer automated business workflows using Ellucian Intelligent Processes to streamline cross-departmental tasks and approval routings.

  • Personalized User Experience: Develop, deploy, and maintain custom interface cards, dashboards, and widgets within Ellucian Experience to modernize campus business processes.

  • Data Insights & Reporting: Design, build, and maintain comprehensive institutional reports and dashboards using Ellucian Insights to provide a "single source of truth" for campus decision-makers.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with campus departments to gather operational requirements, translate them into platform configurations, and train users on new system capabilities.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Bachelor's Degreein Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.

  • Proven experience building and managing data pipelines using enterprise Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) tools such as SnapLogic and Ellucian Data Connect

  • Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis, reporting, and troubleshooting integration data flows.

  • Proficiency with API clients such as Postman, Bruno or Insomnia

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, React, or Node.js for front-end development and SQL for data modeling.

  • Strong analytical skills to re-engineer procedures and develop new data-driven strategies.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking full ownership of the development lifecycle from initial concept through testing and final deployment.

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.

Preferred knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Experience administering, configuring, or supporting Ellucian Banner (preferably in a SaaS environment).

  • Deep familiarity with Higher Education business processes (Registrar, Admissions, Financial Aid, or Finance).

Compensation

The compensation for this position is $70,300 - $91,500 (USD) per year.
