Job Title:Enterprise System Administrator - Intermediate(Support Services) Location:San Antonio, TX Education: BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science or Military Training or Cloud+ or GICSP or SSCP or Security+ or GSEC Certification: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate or Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Position Description: The Tier 3 Systems Administrator delivers advanced sustainment and troubleshooting of enterprise systems for the DHA Domain and Directory Services Branch (DDSB). This role provides expert support across on-premises and MED365 cloud environments, ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of enterprise IT services. Administer and maintain enterprise services including mJAD, Exchange Online, encryption services, eDiscovery, and MED365 tenant operations. Develop, validate, and maintain Disaster Recovery (DR) procedures, ensuring DHA enterprise systems remain resilient and recoverable. · Enforce and validate data encryption on desktops, laptops, and end-user devices, ensuring compliance with DoD/DHA directives. Customize and manage enterprise monitoring rules, alerts, and reports, providing actionable performance and availability insights. · Implement and sustain Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and Public Key Encryption (PKE) solutions in compliance with DoDI 8520.02. Produce After Action Reports (AARs), Situation Reports (SITREPs), and Executive Summaries (EXSUMs) for system outages, interruptions, and remediation efforts. Collaborate with Tier 2 administrators and enterprise engineering teams to ensure escalation paths, knowledge transfer, and continual improvement of IT services. Develops: DR procedures and test results; Encryption validation and compliance reports; Enterprise monitoring and performance reports o PKI/PKE configuration and sustainment documentation; SITREPs, AARs, and outage resolution reports Tier 3 Systems Administrators play a critical role in maintaining the security, resilience, and operational continuity of DHA’s enterprise systems. By driving advanced monitoring, encryption, and disaster recovery capabilities, this position safeguards mission-essential IT services that directly support healthcare delivery across the Military Health System.
