AFIC is hiring a Bilingual Customer Service Representative fluent in both English and Creole. This is primarily an English-speaking role, with assistance provided to Creole-speaking customers as needed. Candidates must be comfortable handling professional phone conversations in both languages throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound customer calls professionally and efficiently
  • Guide customers through the initial claims process with clarity and empathy
  • Enter and maintain confidential customer information accurately
  • Resolve routine inquiries and escalate more complex issues when needed
  • Meet expectations for quality, accuracy, and productivity
Requirements:
  • Fluency in English and Creole is required
  • 1+ year of customer service, call center, or collections experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Clear, confident phone communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and tasks simultaneously
  • Typing speed of at least 30 WPM
  • Consistent attendance and reliability
  • High school diploma or equivalent (insurance experience a plus)

Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly Pay: $20-$24 per hour, based on experience
