Where is TEFL most in demand?

TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) jobs are most in demand in countries where English is not the primary language, such as in parts of Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. These regions often have a high demand for qualified English teachers, especially in private language schools, universities, and online teaching platforms, with requirements typically including a TEFL certification and sometimes a bachelor's degree.

An LSA (Language Support Assistant) usually provides targeted language support to students, helping improve their English skills through one-on-one or small group activities. Both roles require communication skills and may involve different levels of responsibility depending on the program or institution.

How much does TA get paid?

The salary for an English Language Assistant varies depending on the country and program, but it typically ranges from minimum wage to a modest stipend, often between $1,000 and $2,000 per month.
