Job description

Description

  • Create final assembly, sub-assembly and component drawings of new product development projects utilizing 3D CAD software.
  • Support delivering timely responses to all customer inquiries, while working closely with engineering to meet customer needs.
  •  Prepare bills of materials and specifications when drawings are complete.
  •  Ensure the initiation, accuracy, and maintenance of Engineering Change Orders (ECO's).
  •  Interacts closely with both Manufacturing Personnel and Engineers to complete projects.
  •  Collaborates in a team environment, supports development of assigned products (e.g., new mechanical or electromechanical components, subsystems, and systems) by applying as directed basic engineering principles.

  • Basic PDF/Adobe skills
  • Graduate of related two-year vocational school program and three years related work experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Ability to work in-office 40 hours per week during Summer 2024
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial at an accredited 4-year college or university in the United States. Preference will be given to junior status or above
  • Ability to work effectively on a variety of assignments
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team
  • Experience using engineering CAD programs
  • Able to interpret engineering drawings and have knowledge of fundamental engineering principles
  • Strong mechanical aptitude 
  • Eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
