Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company focused on IT solutions, and they are seeking an IT Infrastructure Manager to oversee the maintenance and security of their office networks and systems. The role involves managing a small team, IT budgets, and collaborating with engineering teams to align IT infrastructure with technical needs.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee maintenance and security of local office networks, servers, hardware, laptops, workstations, and peripherals.
• Lead and mentor small team of IT support specialists for high-quality internal customer service.
• Manage office IT budget, including hardware/software procurement and vendor contract negotiations.
• Develop and enforce office-wide IT policies, data security protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with Sr. Director of Engineering to align IT infrastructure with rail engineering teams' technical needs.
• Proactively identify system vulnerabilities and implement upgrades or automated solutions for efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in IT management or senior systems administration.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
