We are seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer Team Lead who is excited to lead, learn, and help shape a safer, more efficient, and more innovative manufacturing environment.
In this role, you will provide technical leadership and people-focused guidance for a team of Manufacturing Process Engineers supporting our EA Tubes business. You'll play a meaningful role in improving product quality, strengthening process stability, developing engineering talent, and supporting the plant's ability to grow and adapt for the future. If you enjoy solving real-world problems, mentoring others, and seeing the impact of your work on patients' lives, we would love to hear from you.
Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Work cross-functionally with QA, AME, and Engineering teams
  • Drive improved product quality by identifying manufacturing issues, developing cost-effective solutions, and overseeing successful implementation into production.
  • Resolve manufacturing issues related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment, and product design
  • Provide inputs into DFM for new product introductions through process design, tool development, and new equipment
  • Drive better business decisions through process data and controls
  • Monitor and improve productivity, while ensuring all customer commitments are met in a timely, quality and cost-conscious manner
  • Lead compliance efforts in support of plant goals. Provide team coaching on compliance documentation
  • Driving Lean Six Sigma implementation
  • Provide safe processes that comply with all local and federal regulations. Assure that corrective and preventive actions are taken to resolve observed safety concerns in all areas
  • Be aware of, comply with, and provide input on the Quality Management System

Required Qualifications
  • B.S. Degree in Engineering or related technical degree and 3 years of experience, or an Associates Degree and 6 years experience in production or engineering
  • Good analytical, planning, interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications
  • M.S. Degree in Engineering or Business
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Demonstrated ability to identify & implement best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to perform with high levels of ambiguity
  • Previous people leadership and/or program management experience
