Description
APPLE INC has the following available in Austin, Texas. Plan and execute large scale engineering projects in the areas of application development and cross-functional initiatives related to deployment of vital systems and tools for Apple Retail. Coordinate cross-functional information technology projects related to device implementation and information security of critical Apple hardware. Provide hands-on project management during the analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases of the projects assigned. Develop and manage end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery of technical hardware and/or software solutions. Provide day-to-day coordination and quality assurance for projects and tasks assigned to engineers and testers. Drive internal and external process improvements across IS&T and retail teams and functions. Interface with engineering, product, and other teams within the IS&T and retail organizations to define requirements, metrics, and key performance indicators. Oversee technical solutions and software development lifecycle end-to-end. 40 hours/week.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering Management, Engineering (any) or related field and 5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation or, in the alternative, 7 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
4 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
Identifying and tracking project risks using programs such as Quip, Miro, Google Suite or Office 365 for planning and tracking workloads.
Obtaining product feedback from customers for submission to engineering teams for future product development.
Utilizing deep knowledge of hardware and software products to predict and resolve issues.
Utilizing proprietary systems to manage and maintain project data.
Authoring internal technical documentation and facilitating training programs, including technical frameworks and process playbooks to ensure operational continuity and consistent customer-facing experiences across global markets.
Mentoring technical and non-technical team members across disciplines, aligning talent development with organizational priorities and culture.
Developing UI and Graphic elements using Adobe Suite, Sketch, JavaScript/HTML/CSS.
Utilizing knowledge and experience of worldwide operations to enhance company services, develop and evolve processes for tools and systems, and innovate on company culture and client experience.
Partnering with cross-functional teams across multiple geographies to design, schedule, maintain, and deliver employee training across all roles.
