In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for overseeing a variety of projects across corporate shared services, from initial planning through to execution. You will work with cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and communication, and ensure successful delivery while driving organizational change.

As a Project Manager, you will play a key role in facilitating collaboration between stakeholders, integrating change management strategies, and ensuring the smooth adoption of new initiatives. Your expertise will help align project outcomes with strategic goals, all while managing resources, schedules, and risks effectively.

We are currently looking for someone to join our team in the role of Project Manager. This position is based out of our Waterloo, ON corporate office, with hybrid working options available.

You will provide the necessary leadership in order to deliver projects on time and within budget.

  • What The Role Involves

    Project Management

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
  • Report on project status to sponsors and leadership, ensuring transparency and accountability.
  • Ensure all parties (internal and external) are aware of project scope and milestones. Highlight deviations from project scope and adjust where necessary to reflect changing circumstances.
  • Manage vendor(s) within defined contract parameters.
  • Facilitate the identification and resolution of project issues; ensure issues are raised to the executive sponsor and/or steering committee and solutions are provided for timely decision making.
  • Manage project related risks.
  • Produce all required project management documentation, such as detailed project plans, work plans, product delivery schedules, project estimates, budget, resource plans, status reports, risk and issue logs.
  • Develop and implement change management strategies when appropriate, including plans to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Measure and report on change adoption, engagement, and benefits realization as part of the overall project plan.
  • Facilitate integration of new practices into existing organizational systems and structures (. updates to orientation materials), and handover to appropriate business leads to support sustainment
  • Collaboration

  • Work closely with Senior Leadership Sponsor, Business Lead, project teams, other business leaders, and stakeholders to integrate change management into project delivery.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams and end users to ensure alignment and address concerns.
  • What You Bring

  • 5+ years experience demonstrated experience leading complex digital health projects and/or organizational change initiatives
  • Relevant post-secondary education and/or combination of education and experience
  • Certification in Project Management (. PMP, PRINCE2)
  • Sound knowledge of project management tools, techniques, and methodologies
  • Either Lean Six Sigma or Prosci certification, OR a technical qualification or experience is considered an asset
  • Understanding of change management principles, methodologies, and tools
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed environment
  • Understanding of organizational challenges and strategic objectives
  • Strong proficiency in all aspects of Microsoft office, with proven skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO
