- A robust academic environment with active clinical, translational, epidemiologic, and basic science research programs focused on preterm birth prevention, substance use disorders, developmental programming, maternal health, and environmental exposures
- Strong institutional support for quality improvement, patient safety, faculty mentorship, and academic advancement
The division performs more than 12,000 ultrasound and Doppler examinations annually across approximately 15 clinical sites throughout Kentucky and maintains a broad regional referral network with expanding outreach capabilities. Faculty collaborate extensively across the College of Medicine, including partnerships in neonatology, immunology, epidemiology, genetics, and population health research.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative department experiencing continued growth in clinical programs, education, and scholarly activity under dynamic departmental leadership.
