Reliance One, Inc. is partnering with a growing manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead plant operations and drive performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee engagement.


This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for building strong teams, improving processes, and ensuring operational excellence in a fast-paced production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, and delivery goals
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Lean Manufacturing, waste reduction, efficiency, and cost control
  • Oversee production scheduling, labor planning, materials flow, and operational execution
  • Develop and mentor supervisors and operations leaders while strengthening accountability and culture
  • Manage operational budgets and support long-range planning initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
  • Lead employee training, onboarding, performance development, and workforce planning
  • Promote 5S, plant organization, and a high-performance work environment
  • Partner cross-functionally with quality, supply chain, engineering, and leadership teams


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Automotive manufacturing experience strongly preferred
  • Proven success leading teams and driving results through others
  • Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, process improvement, and production systems
  • Experience with scheduling, materials management, freight/distribution, and workforce planning
  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Union environment experience is a plus
