Summary:
In this role, you'll be managing a distributed team of frontend, backend, and QA engineers in the Revenue Technology development group. This group is responsible for providing a sales rep facing application that is used by our Direct to Home sales team. This sales team knocks over 10 million doors per year and the application they use to sell is critical to their success. You'll play a critical role in leading your team to deliver a simplified customer onboarding experience that provide high value to the company.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coach, empower, and challenge a team of engineers and QA to grow their skills and impact as technical experts
  • Leverage your technical experience to ensure that your team is making sound decisions, focused on a quality experience for the customer
  • Hire and retain top talent
  • Be a trusted resource for technical feasibility questions from Product management and UX
  • Collaborate with your peer engineering managers to function as one team, delivering cohesive solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across Vivint Engineering and lead collaboration
  • Partner with System Architects to deliver products and services that seamlessly fit into a greater Vivint software ecosystem

Required Skills:
  • A self-motivated exceptional people leader with experience building and leading high-performing teams, ideally with remote or hybrid teams
  • Foster industry best practices and technology decision making from the members of your team
  • Proactively give and receive feedback with a growth mindset

Required Education/Experience:
