Globaltech, Inc. is a design-build company of engineers and contractors that serves primarily municipal water and wastewater utilities. We are currently seeking dynamic, team-oriented individual to play key roles in our growing South Florida firm. We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Manager with experience in the water and wastewater utility sector to join our team.


Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex engineering deliverables for multiple projects
  • Conduct research to develop equipment and material recommendations
  • Manage data and perform complex engineering calculations
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements across multiple disciplines
  • Lead engineering team, coordinate multiple discipline activities, and serve as the responsible charge for a project
  • Identify key client interests and drivers for moderately complex projects
  • Communicate client concerns to project team members and develop solutions
  • Provide support for business development or pursuit activities
  • Provide technical leadership for complex water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Drive solutions to achieve project goals
  • Manage lower level engineers, including work assignments, mentoring, performance managements.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • A Masters degree (e.g., M.S. in Environmental Engineering or Engineering Management) preferred
  • Florida P.E. License required
  • 815+ years of progressive experience in water/wastewater engineering.
  • At least 35 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage projects
  • Experience with budgeting, scheduling, and client relations
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strategic thinking and decision-making ability
  • Experience in public speaking and presenting to city councils or regulatory bodies
  • Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship (now or in the future)
