Job description

This role is for a reviewer not a developer.
Review and approve engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, compliance with standards (e.g., ASME, ISO), and dimensional accuracy.
Participating in business requirement discussions and providing key technical inputs
Identify and report any non-compliance issues, such as inconsistencies, errors, or omissions, to project managers and design teams for correction
Ensure drawings adhere to national and international standards, as well as company design standards
Possess a strong understanding of engineering principles, drafting standards, and relevant codes and specifications
Work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to ensure designs meet customer requirements and are functional
Maintain accurate records of all drawings, revisions, and approvals
Identify and implement process improvements to prevent quality issues from recurring
Review 3D models and concepts to ensure they align with the drawings and meet specifications
Check and approve tolerance stack analyses for completeness and correctness.
May be involved in mentoring team members to enhance their engineering drawing skills.
Experienced In Data segregation, Triaging
~CAD Software, Solid works and Catia v5~
Work as Design Engineer to groom and guide the team
Interact with the customer to understand the requirements and propose and implement solutions
Design and lead the new development processes
Certified/ Experience in GD&T principles is essential minimum 5 years
Aerospace Mechanical Engineering Product Definition Engineering experience
Ability and experience working on different types of engineering drawings, including orthographic, isometric, and sectional views
Familiarity with industry standards like ASME Y14.5-2009 and ISO GPS (Geometric Product Specifications) is necessary for ensuring compliance
Minimum 8 years experience with CAD software Solidworks/Catia v5
Good communication skill
Practical experience in a design or manufacturing industry, Aerospace preferred
Design and development of different modules and other release processes
