Job description


In the assigned Job Role of Technology Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:
• Create business requirement documents covering functional and non-functional requirements, basis information gathered as part of workshops and interviews with client stakeholders
• Craft high- and low-level software designs, validate through prototypes, and incorporate feedback to optimize functionality
• Develop critical and complex software applications and engage with the development team to establish coding standards and methodologies in sync with design and architectural specifications
• Create and guide the execution of comprehensive testing strategies, in conformance with functional and non-functional requirements
• Guide the technical implementation of system infrastructure, and introduction of new software applications, to ensure their efficient deployment and adherence to project schedules.
• Ensure consistent system rollouts by orchestrating transitions and minimizing operational disruptions
• Analyse incident trends to identify root causes, propose sustainable solutions to avert future incidents and establish monitoring protocols
• Provide specialized insights and build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams, securing the successful execution of projects
• Establish and uphold comprehensive knowledge bases to guarantee that vital information is systematically recorded and readily available
• Contribute to the selection of technological tools by collaborating with architects and provide insights on prospective influence of new technologies
• Contribute to the development of technical implementation roadmaps, based on understanding of client business needs
• Contribute to proposals and RFPs by delivering insights related to development of software applications, for successfully delivering the proposed solutions

Required Skill and Experience
• Experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering roles
• Experience in Terraform enterprise module and Sentinel policy development
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, S3, Lambda, VPC, IAM, ECS, EKS, RDS, and CloudWatch
• Hands-on experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab for enterprise-scale application and data platform deployments
• Hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using AWS ECS and EKS
• Must have strong hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation for automated AWS infrastructure provisioning
Preferred Skill and Experience
• Experience in architecting and managing enterprise-grade CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitLab for multi-environment deployments including dev, staging, and production across data and application platforms
• Experience with AWS infrastructure automation using Terraform or CloudFormation with strong understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework and cloud cost optimization
• Experience with Docker containerization including image building, container registry management, and optimizing containerized workloads for data platforms on AWS ECS and EKS
• Experience with Git-based source control workflows including branching strategies, merge request reviews, and repository management using GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket in enterprise environments
• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation specifically for data platforms including data ingestion, transformation, and analytics workloads on AWS
• Experience with AWS EKS and ECS cluster management including task definitions, service scaling, Helm charts, Kubernetes RBAC, and node group management for containerized workloads
• Experience with AWS data and analytics services such as Glue, EMR, Redshift, Athena, Kinesis, and Lake Formation integrated within DevOps automation pipelines preferred
• Experience in implementing GitOps workflows using ArgoCD or Flux integrated with GitLab and Terraform for automated infrastructure and application deployments on AWS
• Experience with AWS security and compliance including IAM policies, SCPs, AWS Config, Security Hub, GuardDuty, and secrets management using AWS Secrets Manager or HashiCorp Vault
• Experience in monitoring and observability using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog for proactive alerting, incident management, and pipeline health tracking
• Experience with Jira and Confluence for Agile project tracking, sprint management, and DevOps workflow documentation in a Scrum delivery environment preferred
• Experience with compliance and governance frameworks such as SOC2 or ISO 27001 enforced through Terraform policies and Jenkins/GitLab pipeline controls preferred

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
