Job Summary:
Supermicro is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join the team for conducting the functional test for the incoming Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA) products, implement Engineering Change Order, model conversion, etc. The candidate is responsible for daily operation of quality control for Supermicro products, isolate and analyze the defective PCBA products, prepare the report and work with QA team for quality improvement. The candidate can work efficiently in the fast-paced production environment to meet dynamic sale demand.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting the visual inspection and functional test for the Quality Control to the PCBA products. Implement the engineering change order and model conversion.
  • Work with QA team to follow up with manufacturing contractors for quality improvement.
  • Work with R&D and QA team to diagnose and analyze the root cause to the defective PCBA products for quality improvement.
  • Practice the lean manufacturing and Six Sigma for process optimization. Develop script or batch file to improve the effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Follow the ISO guidelines to cultivate and promote the safety, quality, energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
  • Willing to do assigned tasks requested by the company. Support management to achieve the company business target.

Qualifications:
  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or Engineering, Industrial and System Engineering, or other relevant engineering field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2-year work experience in production or in industrial is desirable.
  • Basic or familiar with Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication skills in English, including both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Willingness to occasionally provide support beyond regular working hours in case of need.

Salary Range
$75,000 - $100,000
The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
