Job description

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or master scheduling roles.
  • Proven experience working in repetitive lean manufacturing or specialized pulse line production environments.
  • High level proficiency in SAP or comparable Material Requirements Planning (MRP) software architectures.
  • Expertise in material reservation systems, Bill of Materials (BOM) structures, and engineering change orders.
  • Competency in data analysis to investigate, reconcile, and resolve work order and inventory variances.
  • Advanced critical thinking capability to evaluate supply chain risks and allocate constrained supplier materials.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills to coordinate between logistics, marketing, engineering, and factory management.

Responsibilities:


  • Plan, schedule, and monitor products through the complete fabrication cycle based on engineering plans and production specifications.
  • Manage production control activities by converting planned orders to work orders, monitoring milestones, and executing timely closures.
  • Analyze root causes of work order variances and reconcile line-side inventory discrepancies to increase material accuracy and inventory turns.
  • Identify component shortages, evaluate operational risk, and perform global asset assessments to mitigate manufacturing line stoppages.
  • Review incoming engineering change orders and execute corresponding adjustments directly within the bill of materials and factory schedule.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, spares planning, and engineering managers to establish labor loading, capacity requirements, and constrained material allocations.
