This is a 100% on-site, in-office position. YOU MUST BE ELIGIBLE FOR A DOD SECRET CLEARANCE Position Description: The selectee will perform as the Decision Technologies Weapon System Counter-UAS Engineer for a US Navy Weapons Engineering and Program Acquisition Support contract. In the accomplishment of this task, the selectee will be directly responsible for the following: * Systems Engineering & Program Support: Provide systems engineering and program acquisition support for U.S. Navy Terminal Defense Systems, including RAM, SSDS, and emerging Counter-UAS (CUAS) weapon system integration efforts across multiple ship classes. Support design, development, production, and in-service activities. * Software, Upgrades & Digital Engineering: Assist in managing digital efforts such as DevSecOps and Agile development-related activities. Support RAM software updates, Block upgrades, and reprogramming cycles by coordinating technical requirements, configuration changes, and the integration of updated missile configurations with operational combat system baselines. * Testing & Flight Performance: Plan, coordinate, and support RAM flight and performance testing. Develop test plans, objectives, schedules, and technical briefings while coordinating government and industry stakeholders through test execution and post-test activities. * Safety & Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3): Provide technical inputs in Safety and E3 areas, including reviewing and analyzing plans, schedules, tests, test results, and data packages. Support EMI studies, platform interference analysis, mitigation planning, safety qualification efforts, and the coordination of follow-on actions. * Combat System Integration & Simulation: Provide technical inputs to envisioned integration methodologies according to various ship classes, combat system capabilities, and available sensors. Participate in integration studies, providing technical reviews and comments on simulation planning, proposals, and results. * Tactical Integration & Fielding: Review and comment on firing policies, interface changes, and operator workloads. Support the fielding of emerging CUAS capabilities by coordinating technical qualification and working through Non-Permanent Change (NPC) requirements to enable fleet installation and deployment. * Program Reporting & Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, senior-level briefings, and other reporting requirements. Actively participate in program and technical review meetings to evaluate integration impacts and implementation timelines Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant technical discipline * Low Mid: At least 3 years' experience as a DoD systems engineer (non-IT systems) performing requirements analysis, weapon systems integration analysis, or weapon systems design Desired Qualifications and Skills: * Master's Degree in a relevant technical discipline * Direct experience with systems engineering for specific Navy terminal defense systems such as RAM and CIWS. * An active DoD SECRET clearance * Ability to work effectively with team members and subcontractors from various technical, acquisition, and administrative disciplines * Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills * Ability to develop and deliver coherent and concise customer presentations Travel Requirements: Limited travel requirements (<10%) Compensation: Compensation at Decision Technologies, Inc. is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience; as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
