Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Activities Associate, you will assist in the planning, organization, and directing of activity programs for the facility population. You will prepare reports on the assigned populationโ€™s progress as may be required.


Every day, activities may include sports, dramatics, nature study, social activities, games, and arts and crafts in accordance with patient/resident needs. You will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents and patients by fostering engagement, promoting well-being, and creating a stimulating and supportive environment through diverse programming.


To be successful in your role, you will creatively assist in the planning, organization, and direction of diverse activity programs tailored to the needs of our facility population. You will demonstrate exceptional organizational skills, a compassionate approach, and the ability to effectively engage participants in a variety of activities, while meticulously reporting on their progress to enhance overall well-being and contribute to their comprehensive care.

  • Implements and monitors daily activity programs designed to meet residents' individual care plan needs.
  • Completes all necessary assessments and programming documentation within established time-frames.
  • Maintains assigned department areas, ensuring a safe, clean, and organized environment.
  • Assists with transportation for outings and other related activity logistics.
  • Manages and updates monthly activity calendars and ensures proper supplies are ordered and maintained.
  • Maintains professionalism and adheres to safety protocols while handling property, equipment, and interacting with residents and staff.
