What is the role about?
This role at Endress+Hauser focuses on developing and executing strategic, tactical and operational sales plans that align with company objectives and drive revenue growth. The individual will act as a key technical liaison, facilitating customer transitions from competitive products, supporting mid-level engineering initiatives, and promoting Endress+Hauser's advanced level product offering, with specific focus on free space radar applications. This role collaborates closely with sales, marketing, engineering teams, sales channels, and customers to facilitate seamless project acquisition and provide product training. It also supports new product launches, strengthening Endress+Hauser's leadership in level measurement applications across strategic and related industries.
Which tasks will you perform?
  • Develop and execute strategic, tactical, and operational sales plans to support the key objective of both revenue and unit growth in our market leading free space radar portfolio
  • Facilitate customer conversions from competitive products by highlighting Endress+Hauser product value and benefits to take and retain market share
  • Convert customers from our largest competitors in the free space radar market
  • Continual demonstration of devices in the field to key customer stakeholders, training them on product abilities and unique selling points.
  • Specific focus on growth of free space radar business in the US in both revenue and units
  • Drive Endress+Hauser product specifications on both project and day to day business to gain Endress+Hauser "sole source" status
  • Provide training and education on instrumentation best practices to customers and sales channels

What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, or similar) or equivalent technical experience
  • 3+ years' experience in technical sales in Radar free space or level measurement, application engineering, product management, or related roles within instrumentation, automation, or industrial equipment
  • The ideal candidate will be located in the Gulf or East region of the United States (Louisiana, Texas, Florida, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts)
  • The ideal candidate will be located near a major US airport
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to ~50% to support field activities, demonstrations, and customer engagement

You may have (preferred):
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with free space radar technology and instrumentation
  • Demonstrated ability to support customer conversions from competitive technologies through value-based selling
  • Experience working with engineers, EPCs, or technical decision makers to influence product selection or specifications
  • Knowledge of role specific Endress+Hauser instrumentation portfolio
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative
  • Demonstrates enthusiasm and self-motivation, taking pride in your work and channeling energy into achieving tasks with a strong sense of ownership
  • Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit
