Job description

Role - Manufacturing Engineering Manager 

Job type - Regular Full-Time

Location - New Troy, MI 49119, US
 

1. Ideally a Bachelor's degree

2. At least 3-5 years in a similar manufacturing engineering management role, with a strong background in manufacturing/process engineering  

3. Automotive supplier experience would be ideal   

4. Experience working in metals environments, such as machining, stamping, fabrication, etc.  

5. Strong continuous improvement background with proven examples of cost savings (i.e. scrap reductions, efficiency improvements, etc.)  

6. Experience overseeing direct reports 

7. Project management experience, including overseeing timelines and budgets 

8. Experience with product launches 

9. Capital Expenditures experience

10. Strong mechanical aptitude, including the ability to read blueprints 

11. Microsoft Office

Skills preferred but NOT required:

1. Automated work environments 

2. Lean/Six Sigma methodologies 

3. SolidWorks 

4. ERP experience
