Job Description: 
Syneren is seeking a skilled and visionary Help Desk / Test Engineer to provide first-level technical support to end users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, network issues and develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
This role is ideal for individuals with strong communication skills, a passion for technology, and a desire to grow within the IT field.
 
Help Desk Responsibilities:
 
 Serve as the first point of contact for users experiencing technical issues
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems on desktops, laptops, and mobile devices
  • Resolve issues related to operating systems, printers, and basic networking
  1. Ticket Management
  • Respond to help desk requests via phone, email, or ticketing systems
  • Log, track, and update support tickets with detailed notes
  • Escalate unresolved issues to senior technicians or specialized teams
  1. System Setup & Maintenance
  • Assist with setup and configuration of new workstations and devices
  • Install and update software applications and operating systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure system reliability
  1. User Account Support
  • Help with password resets, account creation, and access permissions
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
  • Maintain user profiles in Active Directory or similar system
 
QA Testing Responsibilities:
  • Test software applications for functionality, performance, usability, and security.
  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects.
  • Work with developers and business stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Validate that applications meet government and organizational requirements.
  • Experience with manual and/or automated software testing.
  • Knowledge of testing tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
  • Understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Provide technical support to clients over the phone, chat, or e-mail in a timely and thorough manner
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 4+ years of experience in Helpdesk and Software Testing
  • Serve as the first point of contact for end users experiencing technical issues and provide timely resolution or escalation.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, operating system, printer, and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Respond to support requests through phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems.
  • Create, track, update, and maintain detailed support tickets throughout the issue resolution lifecycle.
  • Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians, developers, or specialized support teams as needed.
  • Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, mobile devices, software applications, and operating systems.

  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including equipment setup and access provisioning.
