Job description

Student Engagement Specialist
The Student Engagement Specialist plays a key role in helping LYTE scholars stay on track with their academic, career readiness, and internship commitments. This position focuses on using systems and data to monitor student participation, identify gaps, and support timely follow-up to ensure every scholar is benefiting from programming. By maintaining accurate records and communicating with staff, families, and students, the Specialist ensures that LYTE's career readiness milestones and internship experiences are accessible, meaningful, and student-centered. This role is designed for someone who values both behind-the-scenes organization and student impact, aligning closely with LYTE's mission of empowering low-income and first generation youth in Delaware to succeed through high school, college, and career.
Member Duties : Support systems that help track student progress and growth. Ensure students are meeting key milestones in career readiness programming. Help connect students with internship opportunities and follow-up support. Maintain clear records that reflect student engagement and outcomes. Collaborate with staff to address student needs and celebrate achievements.
