What You Will Do:
Candidate must perform the work necessary to disassemble, inspect, repair, assemble, and test (as required) Pratt & Whitney F119-PW-100 gas turbine engines and associated new technologies. The candidate must work in a team environment with Field Service Representatives, Engineering, and our customers to provide world class maintenance and support.
Typical duties will include:
  • Full and intermediate maintenance/repair on engines, modules and components, routine maintenance of support equipment, local support for investigations and process improvement activity, management of process related waste in accordance with approved work instructions, and additional tasks in support of business objectives.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision; self-motivated; able to multi-task.
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills; able to work with all levels of the organization.
  • Must be detailed oriented; accuracy in work performed is a must.
  • Candidate must also be able to work atop maintenance platforms, ascend/descend maintenance stands, lift 25 pounds to a height of 4 feet, and be able to position them self to perform maintenance/inspections underneath engine rails and inside the engine exhaust duct.
  • Individual must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced team environment with changing/multiple priorities, have strong interpersonal and communication skills, and work independently.
  • This job is for 2nd shift, but candidate must be willing to work any shift and participate in shift rotations if required. Must also be willing to flex schedule to support business needs, e.g. come in early/stay late.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience in the disassembly, inspection, and assembly of gas turbine engines.
  • Be able to use computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, and Word).
  • Borescope experience, familiarity with flight line maintenance operations, knowledge of non-powered Aerospace Ground Equipment, and a proven ability to use and interpret electronic technical manuals.
