Job description

Responsibilities
Salary Range: $19.00/hr + Annual Bonus Eligibility
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Position Overview:
As a Production Assembler, you'll be a part of our manufacturing team located in Skokie, IL.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Safely perform a variety of assembly operations, complying with all environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
  • Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment following established Standard Operating Procedures
  • Assist with line set ups, start up and maintaining a clean and orderly work area
  • Maintain quality standards as described in the quality system by visually inspecting parts, components and subassemblies
  • Recognize and solve minor problems that arise
  • Perform any necessary material handling requirements of the job
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to perform basic math ' add, subtract, multiply whole numbers, fractions and decimals
  • Strong orientation toward quality, safety and continuous improvement
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge
  • Ability to read and understand procedure, routers and instruction
  • Flexibility in work assignments
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively implement or respond to change
  • Must be able to continuously perform grasping, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking
  • Must be able to handle continuous standing 8-10 hours daily
  • Must be able to perform frequent lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work daily, weekly overtime and weekend as required
  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
