Job description

Every car that cools down on a sweltering July afternoon relies on parts built by hands like yours. As an Assembly Associate in Battle Creek, you are building the thermal components that keep engines from overheating and drivers from sweating through rush hour. This is steady, hands on manufacturing work where focus matters and small details count. You will work on the line, handle parts that move fast, and see the results of your effort every single shift. No corporate speeches, no mystery about what you do. You build real products that go into real vehicles driven all over the world.
This Battle Creek facility is part of a global manufacturer that supplies thermal systems to major automotive brands, heavy duty equipment makers, and the aftermarket. The operation produces air conditioning and engine cooling systems used in vehicles across North America and beyond.
Daily work includes assembling thermal components, operating production machinery, inspecting finished parts for quality, and keeping your workstation clean and safe. You will handle hand tools such as electric air drivers, follow build sheets, and make quick decisions to keep production moving.
What we offer the Assembly Associate position
1st shift: Pay range of $19.18 per hour to $19.93 per hour
2nd shift: Pay range of $21.18 per hour to $21.93 per hour
3rd shift: $20.18 per hour
Full time openings on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift
Weekly pay
Overtime available based on production needs
Medical, dental, and vision coverage
401k options
Paid time off where applicable
A $100 bonus for every friend you refer to us, plus an additional $25 bonus for your referral to WSI
Opportunity for permanent hire based on attendance, performance, and business needs
Qualifications for this position:
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and perform bending, twisting, and gripping throughout the shift
Experience in manufacturing, light industrial, or assembly work preferred but not required
Must be able to speak, write, and read basic English.
Comfortable using hand tools such as electric air drivers
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
If you are the kind of person who shows up ready to work and takes pride in doing the job right, this role is built for you. Bring your focus, your stamina, and your work ethic. There is real opportunity here for people who earn it.
