Guidewire Engage Developer
Are you energized by building modern Guidewire portal experiences that make insurance workflows easier, cleaner, and more connected? This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys hands-on Engage development, PolicyCenter integrations, and solving functional and UI challenges across complex Guidewire environments.
About the Role
The Guidewire Engage Developer role will configure, customize, and optimize Guidewire Portal applications with a focus on Engage. This person will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to implement PolicyCenter integrations, ensure seamless interoperability with external systems, and maintain portal configurations that meet performance and usability standards. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with Guidewire applications, strong understanding of PolicyCenter integrations, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
This role will configure Engage Portals for commercial and personal lines of business, including Jutro-based UI development, custom React components, Jest unit tests, and integration with PolicyCenter via Edge APIs. This person will also debug Engage Portal issues, analyze Splunk logs, and resolve functional and UI defects across multiple environments.

What you do
  • Configure and customize Guidewire Portal applications, with a focus on Producer Engage and other Engage portals.
  • Develop and implement PolicyCenter integrations to support business workflows and system interoperability.
  • Configure Engage Portals for commercial and personal lines of business.
  • Build and maintain Jutro-based user interfaces and custom React components.
  • Create and maintain Jest unit tests to support quality, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Integrate Engage Portals with PolicyCenter using Edge APIs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration between Guidewire applications and external systems.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain portal configurations to meet performance and usability standards.
  • Debug Engage Portal issues across multiple environments.

What you bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working with Guidewire applications, including PolicyCenter.
  • Proven experience with Guidewire portals, including Producer Engage, Customer Engage, or Service Rep Engage.
  • Producer Engage experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of PolicyCenter integrations.
  • Experience configuring or customizing Guidewire Engage Portals.
  • Experience with Jutro-based UI development.
  • Experience building custom React components.
  • Experience with Jest unit testing.
  • Experience integrating Guidewire portals with PolicyCenter through Edge APIs.
  • Experience debugging portal issues across multiple environments.
  • Experience analyzing Splunk logs.
