Position Specific Description
The ideal candidate will live within the Anson, TX area to support the travel schedule. Employees will support a portfolio of projects across the region between TX, NM, OK, & CO. This position requires 50-75% travel availability.
Employees in this role perform advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on inverters, trackers, energy storage systems, high voltage systems, control systems and other associated equipment. Individuals understand the solar and energy storage mechanisms, including both electrical and maintenance of inverters, of all solar and energy storage components. This position replaces mechanical and electrical components, understands schematics and controls systems and uses appropriate diagnostic tools. The successful candidate will interpret fault reports, maintain power generation reports, service logs in the computer database, and monitor inverter and energy storage systems performance and SCADA systems.
  • Performs regular preventative maintenance and repair on solar and energy storage power generation equipmentCompletes advanced electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting
  • Maintains all company supplied equipment, facilities, and tooling
  • Applies advanced understanding of the technical and process functions including leadership competencies
  • Serves as a safety champion for the fleet
  • Coaches new technicians on safety, solar and energy storage systems
  • Serves as qualified reliever in the absence of site management
  • Leads teams in Quality Improvement (QI) projects
  • Provides oversight to other personnel and acts as a Safety Mentor
  • Completes special projects or complex task assignments
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
