Founded in 2023 and backed by leading investors including Andreessen Horowitz, Sam Altman, and Felicis, we're committed to providing clean, modular, and scalable power that meets the rapidly growing demands of AI infrastructure. Our mission is to make sustainable renewable energy always available and almost free, enabling technological advancement while protecting our planet.

We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and proactive Accounting Manager to join our team. In this role, you will own the day-to-day accounting functions, maintain strict financial controls, and ensure accurate financial reporting as we scale our renewable energy solutions. You will act as a foundational member of our finance operations, collaborating closely with cross-functional engineering and hardware teams.

This role is based at our headquarters in Miami, FL. Relocation to Miami, FL is required, and relocation assistance will be provided.

Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & General Ledger
  • Lead and manage the full month-end and year-end financial close processes.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Perform meticulous balance sheet reconciliations and manage general ledger activities.
  • Coordinate quarterly and annual corporate financial audit activities with external auditors.
Daily Operational Accounting
  • Oversee all daily functions including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and payroll coordination.
  • Manage hardware inventory tracking, project cost tracking, and capital expenditure (CapEx) categorization for engineering projects.
  • Monitor, forecast, and report on real-time cash flow requirements.
Controls, Systems, & Compliance
  • Develop, implement, and enforce internal accounting policies, controls, and procedures.
  • Support the evaluation, sourcing, and deployment of a scalable Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local, state, and federal tax regulations, keeping current on clean energy tax credits and policies.
Qualifications & Requirements Required Education & Experience
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a hardware, manufacturing, or renewable energy startup environment.
  • 1-2+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to mentor staff.
  • Deep working knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting principles, and cost accounting.
Technical Skills
  • High proficiency with modern cloud accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel capabilities.
  • Direct experience working with mid-to-enterprise level ERP systems.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cost control systems.
Core Competencies
