We offer a hybrid 3-2 work schedule (three days in the office, two days of teleworking) to accommodate the need for flexibility.
Military service members and veterans with ranks from E5-E9, W1-CW5, or O3-O6, plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

Job Summary
This role has the primary responsibility for managing the day-to-day operations of the company's residential or nonresidential demand side management (DSM) programs which include: demand response, energy efficiency and behavioral programs. Position is responsible for the end to end execution of our DSM programs for all residential or nonresidential applications to achieve targets. Position will analyze and assess new DSM program opportunities and make actionable recommendations to improve on our deliverables. Position will be responsible for: developing and managing vendor networks; development and reporting of measurement and validation metrics for DSM programs; working with industry experts, marketing teams, customers, government entities and special interest groups to ensure best program practices; conduct research and developing position papers on existing and emerging practices and technologies. Position will also assume a lead role in the financial analysis and review of existing and proposed DSM programs to ensure internal and regulatory hurdles are met.
The successful candidate can report to the following DE locations: Norfolk, Lincoln Park, Innsbrook, or Richmond
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences that are required for entry into this job include the following:
-7+ years of related experience.
-Demonstrated aptitude for inquisitive project research
-Experience with vendor network management and negotiations
-Knowledge of energy efficiency measures, demand response systems and behavioral programs
-Ability to effectively handle multiple projects simultaneously
-Ability to work collaboratively and productively with stakeholders
-Demonstrated strong technical writing skills and technical documentation ability
-Ability to effectively summarize and communicate complex ideas
-Project Management Experience

Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor
