This role combines data-driven analysis with strategic business partnership, helping shape product offerings, pricing decisions, customer acquisition strategies, and market growth initiatives.

This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical professional who enjoys solving complex business challenges, working through ambiguity, and turning data into actionable insights. You'll work closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Risk Management teams while helping build new processes, enhance reporting, and drive continuous improvement across the business.

What You'll Do

  • Develop pricing strategies and recommendations that support revenue growth and profitability across retail natural gas and electricity products

  • Analyze market trends, customer segments, competitor activity, and industry dynamics to support business decision-making

  • Create visualizations, reports, and insights that help leaders make informed commercial decisions

  • Partner with Sales, Operations, Marketing, and Risk Management teams to support product offerings and customer growth strategies

  • Evaluate market opportunities and utility choice programs to identify profitable growth opportunities

  • Support customer acquisition, retention, and sales channel optimization initiatives through data-driven recommendations

  • Lead process automation efforts and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reporting, and analytical capabilities

  • Monitor and report on sales performance, market share, competitive intelligence, and market potential

  • Take on special projects and business challenges requiring thoughtful analysis and creative problem-solving

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role such as Financial Analyst, Sales Finance Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst, Pricing Analyst, or Business Analyst

  • Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyze large datasets and build models that support business decisions

  • Experience with Power BI or similar business intelligence and visualization tools

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to thrive in an environment where not every process is documented and ambiguity is part of the challenge

  • Exceptional critical thinking skills with a logical approach to solving complex business problems

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to build effective partnerships across teams

  • A growth mindset, strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback

  • Energy industry experience is considered an asset
