Position Summary
The Digital Economy Marketing Intern will assist with the development, execution, and implementation of written and visual content for the digital shelf across our Batteries, Lights, and Auto Care businesses. They will have the opportunity to gain practical experience with online content optimization by leveraging leading industry technologies to identify opportunities for content improvements. They will partner with cross-functional teams, presenting their recommendations, securing alignment, and initiating content development and implementation.

  • Conduct written and visual content analysis in technology platforms to identify opportunities for product page improvements
  • Present recommendations and secure feedback and alignment on products to undergo content changes
  • Develop written content recommendations based on tool recommendations and team feedback
  • Support the content creation process by assisting Category teams with brief submissions
  • Management of projects and tracking of completion of tasks by team members
  • May perform additional duties as assigned

What we are looking for
Requirements For Success
  • Education and Certification: Communications, Marketing, Business, or similar. However, other majors will be considered if applicant has relevant interests and skills
  • Junior or senior in college
  • Digitally savvy, with an interest in eCommerce space
  • Confident self-starter, comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentations skills
  • Critical thinker and problem solver with a positive mindset
  • Team player, willing and able to jump in to support coworkers and learn new skills
  • Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Ability to maintain a consistent schedule of at least 20 hours per week, with the potential for full-time hours, between 8am-5pm Central Time Monday-Friday

Ideal start/end date
  • ASAP through end of summer with the possibility of extension
