About This Role

Pulse Endurance Sports is relocating to its new location in August, and we're seeking an experienced Service Lead to join our team. As a specialty bike shop, we focus on high-end Triathlon and Road Bicycles from top brands like Cervelo, Pinarello, and Argon 18, in addition to offering service for a wide range of bike types. Our ideal candidate will be a skilled mechanic and service writer who can effectively manage repairs and sales, communicate with customers, and contribute to our team's success.


We're looking for someone who can write tickets, sell services, and suggest necessary repair items, while also managing repairs and sales of bike builds and packaging. The successful candidate will be proficient in tuning up various bike types, building high-end Triathlon and Road Bikes (80% of sales), and working with a variety of bike types, including MTB, Gravel, Hybrid, and e-bikes (20%).


What You'll Do
  • Selling service to customers and working effectively with them
  • Proficiency in ETAP and DI2 systems
  • Building and performing tune-ups on all types of bikes
  • Packing high-end bikes, including bleeding disc brakes

Requirements
  • Previous experience as a mechanic in a bike shop environment
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  • Availability to work Saturdays
