Gastroenterology Endoscopy Lab Position

Location: Atlanta, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 0630-1700

Job Description

The Endoscopy Lab at the Atlanta hospital supports all endoscopic procedures for the Gastroenterology & Pulmonology service lines, including colorectal and bariatric surgery. Procedures include, but are not limited to, colonoscopies, EGDs, ERCPs, EUS, and bronchoscopies.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with various endoscopic procedures in alignment with practice standards.
  • Maintain patient safety and ensure compliance with procedural protocols.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to provide optimal patient care.
  • Document procedures and patient assessments accurately.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience within the gastroenterology specialty.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
