POSITION SUMMARY

Under the general direction of the Director of Infrastructure, the Manager of End User Technology Services provides leadership and expertise for the organization's workplace technology environment, including end-user computing, Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365 services, collaboration platforms, identity and access management, endpoint management, software delivery, and related technologies. This position is responsible for ensuring employees have secure, reliable, and effective technology solutions that support business operations and productivity.

As a working manager, this position combines technical leadership with people leadership. The successful candidate will lead a team responsible for delivering and supporting workplace technology services while contributing strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and customer service skills are essential.

Sunrise IT is an active and dynamic environment with interconnected systems, services, and business processes. This position leads the team responsible for designing, implementing, supporting, and improving end-user technology solutions that enable employees to work efficiently, securely, and effectively.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the administration, support, and continuous improvement of end-user technology services and workplace computing environments.
  • Manage and develop a team responsible for delivering secure, reliable, and high-quality technology services to employees.
  • Oversee the lifecycle management of endpoint devices, operating systems, business applications, and related technologies.
  • Provide leadership for Microsoft 365 services, collaboration platforms, endpoint management solutions, and identity services.
  • Partner with business units to understand technology needs and recommend solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and user experience.
  • Lead and participate in technology projects, ensuring initiatives are delivered successfully and aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain technology standards, procedures, documentation, and operational processes.
  • Support information security, compliance, and risk management objectives through effective management of workplace technologies and related controls.
  • Monitor service performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive operational excellence through continuous service optimization.
  • Manage vendor relationships, licensing, contracts, and technology-related service providers.
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasting, and technology expenditures in alignment with business priorities.
  • Assist the Director of Infrastructure in developing strategic plans, roadmaps, policies, and technology initiatives that support organizational goals.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work effectively with AI tools and maintains an open, curious approach to emerging technologies.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position manages the infrastructure team including Network and Systems Engineers.

Responsible for the hiring, performance management and development of this team.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • College Degree or Technical School certification in Information Systems or Technology preferred.
  • 7 years of related IT experience required.
  • 5 years of supervisory experience required.
  • Microsoft Windows 11 and M365 management experience required
  • Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and configuration management experience required
  • Software deployment and patch management
  • End-user computing and workplace technology services
  • Threat and vulnerability management
  • Certified accreditation desired.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Annual salary range DOQ: $106,419 - $152,027 - $197,635
