About this role:

The Enterprise Functions Technology (EFT) group provides technology solutions and support for Risk, Audit, Finance, Human Resources, Diverse Segments Representation and Inclusion, Legal, and Public Affairs business lines. In addition, EFT provides unique technology solutions and innovation for Wells Fargo Technology, Enterprise Shared Services, and Workplace Technology. This combined portfolio of applications and tools are continually engineered to meet the challenges of stability, security, scalability, and speed.

We are seeking a Lead Technology Business Systems Consultant within EFT to serve as a Technical Project Manager leading portfolio strategy and end-to-end project delivery across Wells Fargo Technology and partner business units. This role will manage complex technology infrastructure initiatives that advance enterprise priorities, including infrastructure modernization, cloud adoption, network enhancements, application migrations, and platform upgrades. The Project Manager will align project plans, schedules, budgets, resources, scope, dependencies, risk, quality assurance activities, milestones, and stakeholder reporting with organizational objectives while ensuring delivery transparency, governance alignment, and operational readiness.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex technology initiatives with broad business impact across cross-functional business, engineering, and technology teams
  • Drive end-to-end project delivery by aligning plans, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables with organizational objectives
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, implementation roadmaps, timelines, resource allocations, dependency maps, and project documentation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define, validate, and manage project scope, objectives, requirements, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Manage changes to scope, schedule, resources, and delivery approach while ensuring alignment with business and technical goals
  • Track, manage, and resolve inter-project, cross-team, and release dependencies across engineering, business, vendor, and operations teams
  • Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans, and escalate as needed to protect delivery continuity
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts, actuals, accruals, funding alignment, financial performance, and variance analysis
  • Monitor execution progress, delivery timelines, milestone achievement, and quality of deliverables to support predictable outcomes
  • Support testing coordination, release readiness, operational readiness, implementation planning, and post-implementation transition activities
  • Coordinate infrastructure implementations, upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts across network, server, cloud, storage, end-user computing, and data center environments
  • Partner with business leaders, technology executives, engineers, architects, cybersecurity, operations, vendors, and application owners to achieve project objectives
  • Provide regular stakeholder updates, sponsor communications, leadership briefings, status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries
  • Drive governance routines, steering committee updates, regulator-ready documentation, portfolio management reporting, and transparent decision-making
  • Lead cross-functional teams, support onboarding and role clarity, influence stakeholders, manage vendor deliverables, and drive accountability for outcomes


Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of project management or technology delivery experience supporting large-scale technology, infrastructure, software delivery, or enterprise initiatives
  • 3+ years of experience developing project plans, schedules, roadmaps, resource plans, milestones, and dependency management routines
  • 3+ years of experience managing project scope, requirements, objectives, deliverables, change control, risks, issues, and mitigation plans
  • 3+ years of experience managing project budgets, financial forecasts, actuals, accruals, funding alignment, or variance analysis
  • 3+ years of experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects involving networks, servers, cloud, storage, end-user computing, data center technologies, or application migrations
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating testing, release readiness, implementation planning, operational readiness, or post-implementation transition activities
  • 3+ years of experience developing status reporting, dashboards, executive-level communications, migration metrics, KPI reporting, or stakeholder updates
  • 3+ years of experience gathering requirements, documenting business or technology processes, and creating process maps or delivery documentation


Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience working in technology governance, change management, operational risk, audit, compliance, regulatory, resiliency, security, or control environments
  • 3+ years of Agile, Waterfall, hybrid, SDLC, or project delivery methodology experience, including use of delivery metrics and quality assurance routines
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across technology, business, risk, compliance, and vendor organizations

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
