Job Description

We are seeking a visionary senior engineering leader to define and execute the strategy, architecture, and delivery of Allstate's End User Computing portfolio. This role is accountable for endpoint engineering, modern management, virtual workstations, device lifecycle management, digital employee experience, software delivery, print services, telemetry, automation, and AI-driven operational excellence. The successful candidate will lead multiple engineering teams, drive outcome-based delivery, develop technical talent, and partner across business and technology organizations to deliver secure, reliable, and frictionless digital workplace experiences at enterprise scale.Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Strategy

  • Partner with the Lead Digital Product Manager (DPM) to shape the End User Computing product portfolio, define the technology vision, set investment priorities, and establish service roadmaps and outcome-based objectives aligned to business strategy.
  • Lead the transformation of end user computing through modern technologies, automation, analytics, and self-service capabilities that reduce friction, prevent issues proactively, and enable seamless service fulfillment.
  • Lead multiple engineering teams responsible for Windows, macOS, mobile, browser management, ChromeOS thin client, virtual workstations, software packaging and distribution, hardware evaluation and certification, print services, and telemetry and automation platforms.

Device & Platform Engineering

  • Define enterprise hardware standards, device and user personas, lifecycle strategies, refresh programs, and procurement recommendations that align technology capabilities with employee needs.
  • Lead strategic relationships with Microsoft, Apple, Google, Citrix, Canon, Nexthink, and other key technology partners to influence product direction, accelerate innovation, and maximize business value.
  • Oversee lifecycle management of laptops, desktops, thin clients, and virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI).
  • Lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of end user hardware and peripherals.
  • Lead the strategy, architecture, and delivery of virtual workstation services, ensuring secure, scalable, resilient, and high-performing digital workspaces that enable productivity from any location or device.

Endpoint Management, Telemetry, & Automation

  • Manage endpoint provisioning, configuration, compliance, software distribution and patching through cloud-based modern endpoint management solutions (ex. Intune, JAMF, Google Admin Console, Nexthink, Citrix).
  • Drive continuous improvement through telemetry, AI-assisted analysis and workflows, orchestration, and automation.
  • Partner with Lead DPM to establish and advance the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) strategy through proactive monitoring, telemetry, automation, AI-driven insights, and experience management capabilities.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), key control indicators (KCIs), operational metrics, and experience measures to drive accountability and continuous improvement.

Engineering Excellence & Support Enablement

  • Lead adoption of AI-enabled engineering practices, intelligent automation, digital assistants, and self-healing capabilities that improve operational efficiency and employee productivity.
  • Collaborate with support teams to reduce mean time to resolution, improve user satisfaction, and engineer solutions to top trending issues.
  • Ability to identify opportunities to transform manual processes into automated and AI-enabled workflows, fostering a culture focused on innovation, operational excellence, and continuous service optimization.

Mobile, Print & Peripheral Services

  • Define and execute the enterprise mobility strategy, aligning mobile device management, application management, security controls, and user experience initiatives with business objectives and digital workplace priorities.
  • Manage enterprise print infrastructure and cloud-based secure printing platforms including Canon uniFLOW Online, ShareScan, and networked devices.

Collaboration & Governance

  • Partner with product managers, cybersecurity, compliance, networking, and support services teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and engineering excellence.
  • Partner with cybersecurity and risk management teams to implement secure-by-design endpoint architectures, regulatory compliance requirements, and zero-trust principles.

Talent Management

  • Develop, coach, and inspire high-performing engineering leaders and teams by building trust, leading with curiosity, fostering continuous growth, promoting extreme ownership, and creating strong succession, talent, and career development pipelines.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in EUC engineering or related IT infrastructure roles.
  • Proven experience leading multiple engineering teams and managers across diverse technology domains within a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • 5+ years of people management, talent development, coaching and mentoring.
  • Deep expertise in endpoint management - Windows/Intune, macOS/JAMF, mobile, browsers, VDI and DaaS, print, and endpoint security solutions.
  • Experience operating within Agile and Outcome-Based Delivery (OBD) product organizations.
  • Proven experience with software packaging and deployment tools (e.g., Intune, JAMF, MECM).
  • Telemetry, reporting, scripting and automation skills (e.g., Nexthink NQL, Power BI/SQL, PowerShell, and Python).
  • Familiarity with platforms like Nexthink, Intune Advanced Analytics, and ControlUp.
  • Ability to communicate technology strategy, risks, investment needs, and operational outcomes to executive leadership.
  • Proven vendor management.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 151,700.00 - 221,675.00 annually and is based on experience and qualifications.
