Principal Linux Platform Engineer
Pay Range: $70/hour to $100/hour
I'm working on an exciting opportunity for a Principal Linux Platform Engineer to help design, automate, and operate large-scale enterprise Linux infrastructure supporting mission-critical environments.
This is an excellent fit for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure challenges, modernizing platforms through automation, and working with cutting-edge Linux and virtualization technologies.
What you'll be working with:
  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
  • KVM virtualization
  • Ansible, Python, and shell scripting
  • Enterprise storage, security, and encryption
  • High-performance compute environments
  • Infrastructure-as-Code and platform automation
  • Enterprise monitoring and observability (Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, AlertManager, Thanos)
  • Identity and access management, compliance, and platform hardening
  • Cross-datacenter high availability and resilient infrastructure
We're looking for someone with:
  • 10+ years of Linux systems administration and engineering experience
  • Deep expertise in RHEL and KVM
  • Strong automation experience with Ansible and scripting
  • Experience with enterprise networking, storage, and Linux security
  • A passion for building scalable, reliable, and highly available infrastructure
Bonus experience includes:
  • Kubernetes or OpenShift
  • IBM Spectrum Scale (GPFS)
