Job description

We're seeking highly motivated individuals to join our team in Southern California as Support Services Technicians. This is a unique opportunity to work with a fast-paced organization and make a real difference in people's lives. This is the perfect position for an EMT student looking to gain hands-on experience in patient care, medical skills, and customer service.
HIRING FOR IMMEDIATE OPENINGS in Orange County
The Support Services Technician will be responsible for operating company vehicles, including ambulances, and providing excellent customer service to both internal and external customers. You will deliver supplies and equipment, maintain the cleanliness of company vehicles, complete inventory requests, and assist with maintaining minimum readiness standards.
Language Skills:
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safe and efficient operation of company vehicles, including ambulances, throughout Southern California
  • Provision of excellent customer service to internal and external customers
  • Delivery of supplies and equipment weighing up to 75 pounds to deployment stations, hospitals, or field operations staff
  • Maintenance of cleanliness of company vehicles, property, and equipment
  • Inventory management and completion of inventory requests
  • Light maintenance duties and completion of minor repairs to stations or equipment
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information
  • Compliance with Employee Policies and Procedures Manual and other company rules and regulations
  • Maintaining a clean and professional appearance
  • Other duties as requested or required by a supervisor or management team member

Physical Demands:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, drive, handle objects, and use hands and arms
  • Occasional need to use a sense of smell
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Current California DMV Class C Driver's License
  • Reliable transportation to/from work locations
  • Acceptable driving record as determined by company auto insurance standards
  • Physical exam, drug screen, and background check clearance

Preferred Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of general work experience
  • 1+ years of commercial driving experience
  • Customer service and product handling experience
  • Previous experience as a delivery or route driver in Orange County and the Greater Los Angeles area
  • Demonstrated safe driving record for delivery vehicles
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to operate a two or four-wheeled hand-truck
  • At least 21 years of age
